WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boosts in certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

The upgraded gear typically has a more value in trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.
