The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application that is specifically designed for. It also comes with mop lifter which lifts the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and return to its base for a recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's costly. But its abundance of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. We highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combination. Its price is justified by its powerful features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the highest robotic automatic vacuum cleaner and mop combos available. In my testing it was able to perform well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair with no knots. The mops were also excellent and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the tank with water to use to mop and also dry mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. Additionally, its mops aren't as adept at removing tough stains like those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are bought separately must be replaced periodically too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. For those who are on a smaller budget, I suggest considering a less basic model that will allow you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find but its high price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has a huge battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. And it is equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It has a mop with a roller that cleans by itself and makes it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked in by the heater elements of the tank and emptied into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water and take on up to a dozen mopping session before running out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you opt for this option however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot vacuum cleaner brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map the space and was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a few times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this can be rectified as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum but it does have some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot vacuum that vacuums and mops's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mop to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just like the other Roborock models that we've evaluated. Its navigation system is solid that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized manner. Its "Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, but it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers like thick carpets but it might not always be able to detect smaller items such as rug tassels or electrical wires.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's a simple solution: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up", at the end of every vacuuming session. You can use the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces and dust that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice addition, and it helps the robot to clean up a little bit better than its cheaper rivals.
